New vintage carded Ewok!
As an early birthday gift, I was surprised with a new carded Ewok for our collection! Romba, one of the rare Ewoks!
Custom Amazing Spider-Man Action Figure
Here is another edition of my custom action figure collection. In addition to my vintage Star Wars and G.I. Joe customs I have also created some Amazing Spider-Man figures that I feel fit greatly into the current 3.75" Marvel Universe Line. I created a Peter Parker (Mask-less Spider-Man version) from a custom Attack of the Clones Anakin Skywalker Vintage collection figure. I also created a Gwen Stacy from the Marvel Universe Sue Storm from the Future Foundation 3-Pack set. Enjoy the pictures!

Lego Star Wars takes over Times Square
Who doesn't love Lego? To celebrate the new Cartoon Network miniseries, the Yoda Chronicles, a giant Lego X-Wing was constructed in Times Square along with other Lego Star Wars figures. Pretty impressive!

Flea Market Magic!
4 times a year Cedarburg, WI holds their annual Maxwell Street Days as a fundraiser for their Fire Department. The event has been taking place since 1966 and features up to 700 sellers at Fireman's Park. You can find anything from antiques, to crafts, to vintage toys. We always manage to find some great vintage toys or other collectibles at the event (Revenge of the Jedi Script Book, vintage stuffed Ewoks, Mego Spiderman to name a few).
This time was no exception. We walked away with numerous Vintage Star Wars figures, a Return of the Jedi art poster, and some other odds and ends.
May 25 marked the 30th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi. What better way to celebrate than to purchase the awesome Return of the Jedi Poster released by Hi-C and Coca Cola in 1983?
This time was no exception. We walked away with numerous Vintage Star Wars figures, a Return of the Jedi art poster, and some other odds and ends.
Finds of the Day:
- The Rankin/Bass Hobbit Record
- Super Powers Superman
- Mego Pocket Super Heroes Batman
- Pizazz Magazine from 1978 featuring the Spiderman TV show

Vintage Star Wars Custom Action Figures
As a child of the 80s, there were many Star Wars and G.I Joe figures I wish they made. My brother and I would often attempt customizing the vintage figures to make our wishes come true. However, in the 80s there was not the benefit of the internet to walk you through how its done. Well, now we have such shared information that I was able to put together some Star Wars customs that make my inner child happy. Most figures were made using the simple "boil and pop" technique. However, the helmet-less X-Wing Luke took some glue magic as that figure's neck was connected to the head. Enjoy the photos and a G.I Joe post will follow!

Sheboygan Toy Show 2013! New Finds: Vintage Carded Ewoks
Its been a while but we are back! Just thought I would share the newest additions to our nerdy family, vintage carded Star Wars figures. Last weekend there was a toy show put on by a toy shop in our area. One of the vendors had some awesome vintage carded Star Wars figures that of course we decided were too good to pass up. Our collection now includes a carded Return of the Jedi Han Solo, Chief Chirpa Ewok , and Paploo Ewok. Among some other deals of the day were a rare Mego Peter Parker we were looking for an a Penguin from the Super Powers line.
Stay tuned for more of our vintage toy finds and custom creations!

Star Wars Meets Mickey Mouse
Today, as the internet imploded with the news that Lucasfilm was bought by Disney, speculation went wild as what could come next. I see this as Disney trying to capitalize on their recent successes with Marvel and attracting the young male demographic that had been slipping Disney's pockets for some years. However, seeing how Disney has let creators have free reign over such Marvel properties as Captain America, Thor, and the Avengers, I have high hopes that this could be a great move for the Star Wars Universe. As the prequels alienated fans worse than the ebola virus (See Redletter Media's Plinkett reviews of the prequels), this may be what Star Wars needed most, a third party coming in and rejuvenating the franchise with a fresh new take. Here is a short list of creators I would love to see helm the upcoming 2015 film. And oh yea, Leia is now an official Disney Princess, minds are officially blown!
Star Wars Episode VII Creator Short List:
Brad Bird (Iron Giant, Incredibles, Mission Impossible:Ghost Protocol)
His work at Pixar is reason enough to be on Disney's short list, but his transition to celluliod was a smouth one with his work on the Tom Cruise action thriller, MI: Ghost Protocol.
J.J. Abrams (Star Trek, Cloverfield, Super 8)
J.J. Abrams raised the bar with his work on the T.V. series Lost, and has never looked back with his work on such motion pictures as Cloverfield and Lost. He is an obvious sci fan and has already rejuvenated the Star Trek brand, why not give him a shot at the galaxy far far away?
Joss Whedon (Serenity, Avengers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Notorious for killing off key characters and having strong female leads, is there a better director to give Star Wars' artistic control too? I thought not, just ask how the Avengers turned out.
Ridley Scott (Blade Runner, Prometheus, Alien)
This sci fi legend could bring a more adult take to the Star Wars universe that was solely lacking from the prequels and Clone Wars animated series. His filmography is too long to list, but this director of Blade Runner and Alien could bring a more grounded take on the Star Wars universe that would be a much appreciated breathe of fresh air in the fantastical world from a long time ago.

Flea Market Magic
Over this past summer the hunt was on and oh was it glorious. If anyone is in the Midwest and wants to know of great place to bargain hunt, look no further than Cederburg Wisconsin's Maxwell Street Days. Its multiple times over the year, starting in spring and ending early fall. Its 4 Sundays a year and usually falls around the major summer holidays. But check online for exact dates as they are subject to change. These flea markets are great to find deals on toys, collectibles, and any other buried treasures. But, do be warned the early bird definitely gets the worm in this game as it opens at 6 am. So be prepared! The prices are great and you can land things at rummage sale prices you would never imagine finding! However, did land some great finds over the past year! Ranging from vintage Star Wars figures, a near complete Castle Greyskull, stuffed Ewoks, and none other than an ultra rare Revenge of the Jedi promotional script book! All these were purchased for basement prices! I highly recommend this flea market to anyone in the Milwaukee area as there are always deals to be made and treasures to be found! Here's just a list of the few great we founds over the past year there!

Star Wars Adidas Shoes and Wedding Bells!
http://www.forkparty.com/641/star-wars-adidas-shoes
This post is about 2 years late, but the always classic Adidas design joined forces with Star Wars to create some pretty awesome kicks. These shoes have become red hot on ebay and still show the wonderful creativity vintage Star Wars brings out across all mediums.I decided to create this post as I have decided to go with the Tie Fighter Addidas version to match my grey Vera Wang wedding tuxedo! My fiance created her own white Star Wars slipper to match under her gown. Will be epic! Enjoy the post and the picture of her hand made vintage comic Star Wars shoes!
